Rondale Moore is the man!

Hell, Petrino should be fired for not landing this local superstar in the making.

And just look at the play calling by Brohm leading late in the game. Using their best player confusing the hell out of the Buckeyes defense. What would we do? Run off tackle twice and punt.

I haven't had more fun watching a football game this season.

New Coach...

While my list has expanded I think the next UofL coach will come from the list of 21 coaches below. My top three choices are current NBA coaches who have all coached at the D-I NCAA level. I will list them in order of preference:

1) Brad Stevens
2) Billy Donovan
3) Fred Hoiberg

There are currently 351 NCAA Division I basketball coaches. If we do not hire one of the NBA coaches listed I think our coach will come from one of the following 18 current NCAA coaches. I have grouped them in alphabetical order in two separate groups. Those listed in the “A” group are the top-tier candidates and the new UofL coach will most likely come from this group.

Those that are listed in the “B” group are excellent coaches but are listed as a “B” candidate due to a smaller sample size as a head coach, lower winning percentage and other factors.

“A” Candidates (Listed Alphabetically)

Steve Alford
Mike Brey
Mark Few
Chris Mack
Gregg Marshall
Cuonzo Martin
Jay Wright

“B” Candidates (Listed Alphabetically)

Tommy Amaker
Chris Beard
Kermit Davis
Bryce Drew
Scott Drew
Chris Holtmann
Bobby Hurley
Greg McDermott
Shaka Smart
Mike White
Buzz Williams

I look forward to any and all comments. Have fun!

SB Nation: Jeff Brohm replacing Bobby Petrino seems like a no-brainer.

This article was 3-days ago and now Jeff has a signature win at Purdue over #2 O$U. So, the price of making such a change just went up.

Pro number one: Reviewing what Western Kentucky and Purdue were before Brohm arrived (and what WKU is since he left) shows his impact.

Pro number two: Brohm’s offensive ingenuity, eye for talent, and local recruiting inroads.

Pro number three: Brohm isn’t Petrino.

Pro number four: One cannot blame Louisville for wanting to hit the reset button, given the state of the program.

More details on the Kemari Averett arrest

From the Courier Journal, article found here: https://www.courier-journal.com/sto...-averett-arrested-charged-assault/1657294002/

Police referred to the victim as Averett's girlfriend and said Averett is the father of her baby, but added that Averett "has been denying he knows victim and it's not his baby. According to an arrest citation, Averett was at the woman's house Sunday night to study and left his backpack. The woman went over to Averett's apartment to return the backpack Monday night. He walked to the car and gave the woman a baby outfit and ultrasound pictures, according to the citation.

When he retrieved the backpack, he noticed his laptop was missing, the citation said.

She told Averett she wasn't aware the laptop was missing. Police said Averett then came at the woman, put a gun to her left temple and said, "(expletive), I will kill you."

Averett then told her to return to her hometown, and "I'll have my people looking for you," police said. He also told a witness in the back seat that, "I should pistol whip your (expletive) for running your mouth," the citation said.

A Honest Question

Do you all believe that Tyra is doing "back channels" to see if Jeff Brohm would actually want to be the HC at Louisville before he (hopefully) go after him after the season? Trust me, I and a lot of others wants Brohm a lot to be our coach next season.

Also, I know that Jurich and Jeff wasn't on the best of terms, but I wonder how Jeff's and Tyra relations is.

Hire Brohm now!

I don't think a lot of top coaching jobs are going to be opening up after this season, but we cannot miss the opportunity to get him while we can.

And FWIW, I am actually in the camp of folks that still thinks CBP is a great coach and we are lucky to have him. But all that said, Brohm is looking to me like the next big time coach. The timing seems right here.
