Now what?

I'm at a loss about what's next. I've been scowering the internet for in depth articles about the incoming class and can't find anything beyond a list of players. I'm certain it's a top 10 class, but how it fits with who's coming back(grad seniors, transfers in or out,and returning underclassmen) is the 64 thousand dollar question.

I'm not even sure which Seniors have any eligibility left.🤷‍♂️

BB RECRUITING: Class of 2026 Offers

"That was great getting an offer from Louisville," Allmond said. "They're a rebuilding program. I got on the phone with coach Carr who used to be at Charleston. So, that connection right there and just being able to get an offer from a program that's trying to rebuild and you know, create something new and get it back to what it was."

OT: PRP baseball.

They knocked off Trinity today for a chance at the state title, against the winner of McCracken and Owensboro Catholic. My dad was a proud PRP alum. Go Panthers!

Also, I see the state tournament games are being played at UK's ball park. Which is fine. But, then I remembered the boys and girls play at Rupp for the Sweet 16, and the football championships are played at Kroger. Did UofL piss somebody off?

Culture

So you hear the term culture thrown around a lot by coaches across the sports spectrum, professional and college alike. I've heard both of our newest coaches use the term. So what about this baseball program?

Have we gotten off the tracks a bit over here, forgotten that the team benefits when everyone is about the team goals?

Curious about what anybody thought about a perceived lack of leaders or did we just miss our turn in the circus that was 2020.

Remember, our current Sophomore class #3

Isaac Sowells will no longer be taking his official visit to Louisville. The team wanted him to cancel his visit with NC State and take his Louisville OV that weekend instead of the previously scheduled midweek visit. Unfortunately for Louisville, this means it is eliminated from contention on this one.

He'll decide between South Carolina, Kentucky, NC State and Miami.

FB RECRUITING: We rank the best QBs of the Rivals Camp Series regional stops:

The Louisville commitment is another who has upped his stock during the offseason, something he kicked off at the Rivals Camp Series in Atlanta. A gamer on Friday nights who will impress with his arm, legs and leadership, the camp effort proved he could get into a strong rhythm and drive the football well despite not-so-ideal elements on hand that cool and rainy day. Mims stands tall in the pocket and can work multiple arm angles relative to the flow of the play, combining well with his natural athleticism for what looks like a strong fit for the Cardinals.
