I'm not sure if the awards are for regular season only or not. Most awards in sports don't count post season.

But it's my opinion even if Louisville wins out in the regular season, Kelsey won't win it and won't even come in second. There's nothing today that shows Louisville or it's coach or it's players are taken as seriously as it normally would amongst voters.

Chucky Hepburn was left off the Bob Cousy award I believe it was as an example.

I also doubt Kelsey will win the ACC coach of the year even if Louisville wins out.

I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't think I will be. Louisville's remarkable resurgence is looked at like a fluke for much of the media and people usually don't vote for flukes.

Why did I post this? Dusty May was the Prime Target for IU Basketball, that has one of the Great College Basketball Pedigrees of all time! Now that IU dream hometown candidate is off the board for IU. Who is their next prime target?? Michigan was smart in doing this! And IMO CPK is on the short list for a play by IU. You don't think I am right in my assessment! Your head is in the sand. CPK will be a hot target for not only IU, but several other jobs!! Time for our UL Leadership to act with a pre-emptive deal much like the Wolverines! Stop with it's not even one season. The Wolverines acted quickly with Dusty May! They are in the same boat as UL. With one of the Hottest Coaches in College Basketball CPK!!!! Lock down Coach Pat Kelsey NOW!!!!

Joe Lunardi has Louisville and sUcK both playing in the South Region. First game Louisville would play Arkansas and sUcK would play Chattanooga. The winner of those 2 games would play each other in the 2nd round. Also in that region would be Memphis and Michigan State. Once again sos and all the algorithm has nothing to do with the selections. It is obviously based on attracting viewers. However we will hear the Ad’s and University Presidents use the usual talking points blah, blah, blah.
