When I used the term "fool's gold" in response to you and another poster, I was CLEARLY addressing blowout wins on our schedule. I said so. I wasn't referring to anything else, and I stand by that comment.

Beating up on overmatched teams is meaningless even if one or two fans who post here like them...

I'm in it for the long term, have been for more than four decades. I simply recognize what's important as I just described to you in my last post.

It's also important to analyze for what's most likely to be true, not just what you read and hear. Many fans don't understand the realities now at U of L, or they wanna believe what they're spoon fed. You can't trust what people tell you who are motivated to tell you a particular version of events. They'll lie or polish a turd just about every time.

No way IU gets in if they lose to OSU. They would have zero wins over a top 35 rated team. Maybe Michigan which IU only beat by 2.

I suppose if they lose 35 to 34 to OSU, some committee members would consider them?

Lets not lose sight of the fact that Turner not Brown started the season as our No. 1 RB option. If he's 100% healthy, there's no reason to think that he will be a big boost to the running game.

Yeah,I agree. His injury did open the door for Brown to show what he's got. I don't see anything wrong with keeping these backs fresh by using them all.
