has gone out and recruited the top college basketball coach in the country who had yet to win a title and the top football coach in the country who hasn't won a title. anyone concerned about his lack of experience should feel somewhat better i would think. that'd be on par with what TJ has done if not better. certainly a better start for sure.

Tough overall play. Showing some leadership. Really liking what I'm seeing out of him.

I’ve heard same things most everyone else has heard about him taking the job. Interesting convo with someone I trust though brought a different perspective.

He doesn’t want to leave PU, but recognizes he might not have another shot with us. He has experienced though working w/ BP ramifications of flirting with other jobs. He doesn’t want to be perceived that way.

He also told his players he wasn’t leaving, and it’s been in the media. Never an easy way to handle either way.

However, feeling is back and forth might be PR driven. Wants to portray image that he’s torn, and ability to make it easier to explain to recruits, parents, and players. At end of day, he really is, but he doesn’t want to deal with those saying he lied to them. They want to paint picture of really considering staying.

Leaving the Yum! Center and going out onto 2nd Street the fans were cheering and screaming full of happiness. I told my brother I don’t remember one happy moment from last season leaving games especially in Jan, Feb, and March. It was so weird feeling happy leaving a UofL basketball game! It was so nice to finally beat a team of significance and feel relevant again!

Hats off to the fans tonight you were outstanding and hats off to Chris Mack and the team. What an outstanding effort!

that bodes extremely well for the program in the future....great job by the kids in execution and Mack and staff in coaching.

Easily the best "team" play all season. Could end up being not just a signature win for this team, but a seminal moment when the team realizes that they can play with anyone.

It's amazing how a excellent, experienced coach makes all the difference in the world. No disrespect To David Padgett, but this seasons team is so much better than last seasons. And that is replacing Anas, Ray, Q and Adel with Enoch, Cunningham, Fore and Agau.

Chris Mack will be UofL's 3rd Hall of Fame coach.

but tonight just might mark the point when UofL athletics became relevant again. (yeah, yeah, I know...WBB, baseball, other sports....but I'll stick with what I wrote.)

Makes me damn proud to be an Fing Card. This team is as tough as nails. We will lose some games but they are buying into Mack's system. We have a good coach fellas. Give it time

Great gutty game. Pet theory of mine is players take on the mannerisms of their Coaches. Hard to put a finger on it but your guys looked really focused on the game tonight and a little less caught up in the moment.
