We average giving up almost 47 PPG. We have given up 50 or more 6 times this year. Our average losing margin is 30 PPG.

The Wildcats will break out of an 11 game offensive slump next week.

Cards win ACC! 1-0 over NC

On this Sunday of Thanksgiving week I’d just like to wish all of my fellow Cardinal fans a happy and wonderful Thanksgiving. Even though we’re having a horrible football season and have had a lot of stuff go wrong at UofL over the past few years there is still a lot to be thankful for. We are on the road back and success will happen sooner rather than later. I’m thankful for family and friends and health. I’m also thankful for all of our First Responders and each and every service man or woman around the world that guard our way of life and Democracy. May God bless each and every one of you/us (even you uahkay fans ). Have a great week.

Like what I'm seeing from coach Mack. You can see this team improving each game out. Tonight the defense was better, and the ball movement was better san Nwora who doesn't like to pass once he gets the rock.

Late in the game, the Cards up 8 and Perry makes a nifty spin move to push the lead back to 10 with a ton of time left on the shot clock. Coach calls time out and gets right up in Perry's grill and lets him know it wasn't the right play. Perry should have been trying to milk the clock and coach said as much to his face. I like that. He wasn't berating him. He was TEACHING him.

I like this team. I'll eat my UofL hat if they can't win more than 15 games.

If our defense were to play a game against our offense - who would win?

My pick would be our defense. Why? Our rush defense I believe has improved and our secondary, though weak, would hold its own against our passing game. To me the difference would be turnovers. Our offense would put the ball on the ground or throw the pick six.

Perry is shooting 74% from the field, 67% from 3-point and 91% from the foul line. I know the competition is fairly weak but that's pretty impressive. He doesn't take easy shots.

Power outage, 2 nights in hotels, a small fender bender a brand new car. Hell, I even dreamed our football team gave up 50+ for the 6th time this season. Crazy stuff.

Well, time to get back on schedule, make some coffee and read the morning paper.

does come here to be our new head football coach, he will need a new DC. Holt may be a good position coach but he’s no DC. I’m hoping for Jeff but he has his hands full with IU next weekend. Regardless of what happens for Purdue the rest of the season I want Jeff as our new head coach.

Given that, I cannot fathom the complete lack of pride and effort that is commonplace with this group. There comes a point where these ass-beatings become personal and you choose to fight and get better. These guys roll over. There are so many things wrong right now.

won over WVU in a thrilling game that came down to the last play. They give up lots of points, but they are exciting and super competitive. They’ve beaten the Mounties 4 years in a row now.
I sure miss the days when we took a game into the fourth quarter.

Guy is a stud coach. Has UConn looking like the old days. They’re playing Syracuse in the Garden tonight, reminds me of the good ole days of the Big East. Damn glad to be in ACC but the Big East days were special.

Four(might have been 3) twelve men on the field penalties in one game against a team(much less a defense) in my nearly 50 years of watching football. Congratulations coach Van Gorder on this unusual accomplishment.

Another big miss

Some signs of effort today for about 1/2 of the game. Otherwise this team showed what it’s made of. As a whole this team has no passion and no pride. They voted a guy as team captain who gets himself suspended for the first quarter. Whomever gets the next head coaching job is going to have to figure out who actually wants to play.

We must have set a record for the most 50 point + games given up by a power 5 conference team. So we’ve got that going for us.

Front seven looks like they came to play. DBs gonna have to pick it up. QB situation is in complete disarray - neither guy is the answer.

Why no time out at the end to try to score? Were we out of time outs?
