We are NOT a good half-court team we are GOOD transition team. It is painful watching our half-court offense. We dribble around the key and run the clock down to 3 seconds and then take a bad desperation shot that never goes in. With Curry, Jefferson and Taylor this team is built for a transition style offense.

He was asked if he’s met with Heird about his future. He said he meets regularly with Josh. He looked dejected for the first time. He knows it’s coming to an end. I’m ready for the KP era to be done, but this was part of my greatest fear is that one of our former players would have to be fired. That part sucks because he was suckered in by Eaves and Beard.
I had the same fear with Brohm but knew he was more prepared and less likely to meet the same fate.

Louisville's lack of representation among the All ACC honors list should be enough to motivate the team and give them a chip on their shoulder going forward.

There’s obviously a massive difference in opinions on here about Heird, KP, coaching candidates, etc. but we really need to stop getting so agressive towards one another. I am guilty as the next and am going to try to check my self as much as I can. I’m fortunate to be privy to info from time to time and enjoy sharing, but it’s gotten to the point where every post is questioned or combative and we’re better than that. We all want the same thing regardless of our feelings for each other or people running the show at U of L right now. Let’s hope we can get Drew or someone of that caliber and we can all begin to enjoy basketball again. The losing around here in major sports has made everyone miserable and we’re taking it out on each other. No sense in that day in and day out.

We have to play a good game today and everybody has to contribute. Defense is what is going to win this game today and I hope we’re ready Boston College has been knocking down their 3’s so we definitely have to extend the defense.

Ty, regarding the coaching info, were you, Deener, Goodman in the same room with the insiders when the coaching update was mentioned ??
I'm just wondering if 2nd tier coaches were mentioned or if Goodman more or less came up with that on his own ?
Who do you think is the 2nd choice? I have to think Cronin or Muss (as immediately available).

I watched his ole miss team for the first time last night that guy is good.
That team has no more talent then the team we have and he coached his ass off last night

Whoever the new coach is I hope they recruit guys with combinations of the above.

Ty-Laur has speed and JJ has hops but everyone else is a tweener that's mostly slow and unathletic. Cards haven't really had high flying exciting dunkers in ages or been able to play above the rim.

We haven't had great outside shooters in years either.

Just eleven years ago the Cardinals and the Wolverines were playing for the national championship. Both programs were elite with rich histories of success.

Today, both have just 8 wins and are led by a former player who has no business being a head coach at such a top program.

Juwon Howard and Kenny Payne have and are destroying their programs. Both will most likely be fired this month, proving hiring a former player is not exactly in a schools best interest.

I think I’ll take Drew’s word over his. He hinted at Brohm. Accurate AF.
