I do understand that NCAA sports are (for the most part) all about the $$, and I can see where the NCAA makes up the rules to fit their agenda.......

Perry and King are desperately needed for this team to go the next level. Perrys' 5 turnovers were deadly in the game yesterday and King showed no ability to give us significantly minutes as of now. I do not understand two players of their potential unable to give more effort and success that these two could provide. They just are not carrying their share of the load.

Was facing a staff overhaul, which meant firing his son. He retired instead. Mark Stoops, oddly, is a candidate to replace him. That would mean Neal Brown to UK, most likely.

Who made the best recent hire.

Ohio State with Holtman. NC State with Keatts. Those are very good hires.

But Louisville getting Mack was the best hire of the past couple years. I applaud Louisville.

Yesterday was the first chance I got to watch UK this season. They really struggled in the half court. I think we have a good chance to win this game. My two concerns are keeping them off the offensive glass and PJ Washington on the low post getting Enoch and Williams in foul trouble. Finally on offense we really have to do a good job passing the ball because as is usually the case they are very long. So its going to be very difficult to get good shots off the dribble.

Since it’s the dead period I’ve had to scrounge and kick the bushes for info but I did get a sliver of light to shed here.

I was told by a Louisville source that Tim Anderson, a 2019 JUCO offensive tackle is very much on the new staff’s recruiting board. Other things I’ve discerned have lead me to put in a future cast in favor of Louisville.

Big, fast and well coached. And, they are pushing around a pretty good Notre Dame team.
They are going to leave ND in a foul mood to start next season.

The Cards looked good yesterday, especially considering what Mack inherited. He looks ahead of schedule, and 2 of your guys . . . I wish I had that kind of muscle/size . The team - from Mack to the players - seemed like a great group of kids, and U of L is building quick. They are going to be a tough out throughout the season and next year as well. Looking forward to watching Igehorn (sp?) play!

There is a lot of wins ahead for the Cards. This has been a crazy season so far for several teams, so it's tough to say what is a real problem vs. what is quickly-fixable. Good luck in conference play. The program is looking like a class act already.

Still early, but aside from Miami performance, the ACC has been rather impressive so far. More to go, but a few more wins could raise ACC status heading into 2019.

I don't know what may have been going leading up to this game but Bama has bee playing dirty. Penalties, horse collar takedown on Murray, 99 on Bama's DL should have been kicked out of the game.
3 penalties on Bama's offensive unit before halftime with Saban breaking his headset. Bama are experts at wearing tight uniform tops to keep the opposing teams from grabbing any material, but they are experts at holding other teams by the uniforms at the shoulders.
I just wanted to see an entertaining game.
I ain't no big fan of Clemson because their secondary does alot of holding, but I'm going to have to root for the them in the final just because their an ACC team.

This going to come down to whether Clemson's OL can protect the QB. If Lawrence has to run from the bama rush they'll lose by 3 TD's.

Can I get some fire in the belly please. This was absolutely horrible and totally unacceptable. Getting beat straight up is one thing, but playing like Zombies and making the myriad of mistakes over and over again today was about all I could stomach. Other than Cunningham I did not see any fight from anyone. There should be an APB out for most of this team as I would have thought they would not have to be motivated by cattle prod to play UK of all teams. Don't get me wrong I know what were are as a team at this particular point but the lack of fight was just mind boggling. It's going to be a rough road to travel once ACC play starts.

Safe to say Lolla was UofL's greatest men's soccer coach. My guess is he thought he took the soccer program as far as he could. That 2nd round loss to Michigan St. was kind of a let down. Anyway, best of luck to him.
