OSU tailbacks

I bet Jeff Brohm is watching this game tonight knowing he has two dynamic backs like OSU. If Louisville QB Moss is as good as Howard, the Cards offense is going to be awesome.

Brohm also has two top receivers in Lacy and Bell. It's the OL that needs to be top notch to make Louisville the OSU of next season.

The Buckeyes OL was dominant against ND, getting pretty much anything they wanted. I'm not sure how more improved the Cards OL will be, but Brohm knows the OL is key for the offense to be one of the best.

I've seen some way to early polls for next season and Louisville is in the top 10 in every one.

Durham is from Louisville and played at Eastern HS. No doubt he had the connections to recruit King and Petty.
Hugh Durham also had the guts to integrate his teams b4 it was largely acceptable. Opportunities for black athletes were limited if you weren't a sure-fire star like Wes or Butch. Mike Redd had to go to KY Wesleyan for heaven's sake!

It was just a sign of the times, unfortunately. 1966 gave us Texas Western/Rupp's Runts. 1971 gave us WKU and an All-Black starting five in the FF followed up with the next year's All-Black FSU starting team. Suddenly, the door was wide open.

Lamar Jackson

Once again a playoff loss was not on him. Lamar accounted for all 88 yards with 3 minutes to go for the TD, and threw a perfect pass that was dropped on the 2 point try. The game would have most likely went to overtime.

Yes, he had two turnovers, but no successful QB in the playoffs have perfect games. No one would be saying anything about the turnovers had Lamar won the game in overtime.

Who knows why he can't seem to get over the hump in the playoffs. What I know is it's not always been due to any poor play by him. He will get to the Super Bowl eventually because he's too good and he's dedicated.
