Louisville vs Va Tech

I hate to say this and I hope I am wrong but with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter this game is already over. This team needs to do some soul searching because there is very little effort to go after rebounds or loose balls. When you’re not shooting well the only you can do is play good defense and go after the ball. Unfortunately this team is not doing anything except running back and forth going through the motions.

Louisville vs Va Tech

Hard to believe, but Williams, Roberts, Randolph and Berry combined for 1 of 12 FGs in the first half. Not sure any other D1 college women Team in America could have shot any worse if they were trying to miss on purpose.

Some poor shot selection for sure, but you can almost expect hitting “the back of the rim” even when getting open looks regardless of where they took their shots. Conversely, VT shot 54% in that same half.

I like z Liz Kitley but let’s get back to the ball game.
Why? I'd rather look at Kitley than this Louisville offense.

Even during this streak, the offense just hasn't been good. This game they don't even look focused. Missing bunnies and wide open 3's. VT doesn't look any better than the teams Louisville has beaten during this streak, but when you can't score, you're not going to win.

Walz has to be as perplexed as he ever has been.

"Dirt Bowl" uniforms:

Paying tribute to the legacy of basketball in the City of Louisville, not just at the University. A lot of great players never got to be Cards, went somewhere else or never played college ball at all.
Thanks BooneCo_Card. The guys doing the broadcast didn't really get into that. The morning CJ failed to do so also. Anyway Ron King Louisville Central comes to mind although I have forgotten why he chose to play at FSU.

"Dirt Bowl" uniforms:

UL wore similar uniforms [except for the trunks] in the late 50's thru the mid late late 60's and later. IIRC. On a side note, I recall watching a number of ABA and even a few NBA players play in the "Dirt Bowl" back in the day. What I don't get is the Dirt Bowl tie in? Any help? Thanks in advance.
