UofL Players Into Portal

Not arguing, cycle, but why?
Not trying to speak for cycle, but Johnson saw the writing on the wall when Brown signed. I think he believed he would battle Hepburn for the job when he transferred here, but his injury stopped that.

I think he then watched like the rest of us, Hepburn tear it up and realized he would have been the backup had he been healthy. He didn't transfer to Louisville to play backup minutes and he knows the 5 star recruit will probably do that to him in 2025.

It makes sense he entered on the first day. He wants to be the starter and that's not happening here.

UofL Players Into Portal

I predict the following will join Johnson in the portal.

Scott
Rooths
Hadley

With Fru and Khalifa and Pryor returning, I don't see why Scott would return. Rooths may move on to a lower level where he can play 30 minutes and improve his game. He can always transfer back to a big school for his junior season.

Hadley is the one player I think may stay regardless of who Kelsey brings in. He knows he's not a NBA prospect so staying where he's loved by the fans may be what he wants?

Pryor said he's coming back or I would predict he would leave as well. He still may, depending on who Kelsey gets in the portal. Pryor does have NBA aspirations.

FB RECRUITING: 2026 Joel Ervin Update: Decommits

I am truly surprised that some Basketball players haven’t “opted out” of the NCAA if they’re on a low seed with little chance.

I would have to think that’s coming.
Hell knowing what I know now, Louisville shouldve opted out of the ACC tourney. What would they have done make us a 9 or a 10?? Give me fresh legs over a seed line when you're talking 8-10! Hell Creighton was much harder matchup than any of the other possibilities!

VaTech #3 What da hell 1 camera for this game?

Well, didn’t get run ruled, but Tech took the series with a decisive 11-4 win today. Gave up 24 runs in the 3-game series … not a good result for the good guys.
Yeah,we're only hoping for something, anything to light a fire before it gets to where we were last season. All of these early conference games mean something.

Even though I know who the captains are,I've yet to figure out who the leaders are, outside of Rose. I'm not panicking yet but I am waiting for others to emerge as leaders, either on the field or in the bullpen.
