I can't imagine Louisville ever making 25 3's in a game, especially against a very good team.

Alabama's performance tonight is an all time epic. Assuming Duke gets by Arizona, they're in trouble come Saturday.

Alabama was my sleeper pick for cutting down the nets. Virtually no one picked them. UK got more picks than Alabama which is ridiculous.

I figured there wouldn't be a Cinderella this tournament so I looked for a great team that was being overlooked. It was Alabama.

I have them winning it all in a sportsbook bracket and in my family/friends bracket.

We definitely haven’t seen that kind of shooting before. The odds are they will regress at some point. Sears was really struggling from 3 the 1st 2 rounds. They shoot like that yeah no one is touching them.

Duke’s offense is pretty damn good too so it will be a great game.

That is remarkable, but there is a long list of teams that shot their way into the last weekend that died on the vine because they couldn't get stops. Duke is a whole different defensive animal than BYU, and they have so many long defenders in the backcourt Sears is going to have to get into the lane more.

Nobody has questioned that Alabama is a great offensive team. Could be wrong but I agree with Hack, lets see what they do against the dookies.

I just posted on why the Tide will not experience anywhere near the success shooting 3s over Duke’s tall roster (not a single player shorter than 6’5”), where those Tide screens will witness switching man-to-man defenders that will be be 6’9” and taller.

CPK talked about how Duke’s length affected our shooting 3s.

Of course Alabama is going to have it harder against Duke. They do however are very confident and great shooters with confidence leads to a lot of victories.

Didn't Arizona and Caleb Love just torch the vaunted Duke defense from 3? Not 25 made 3's but the Wildcats were way over their PPG average.

Most of Alabama's 3's were NBA range so if Duke's tall defenders are going to pressure 28 feet from the basket, well good luck with that. Sears and Holloway will go right by them.

Duke will be facing their toughest game since December. Alabama has faced 8 top 10 teams since February.

Here is why I like Duke in this matchup. Florida handled Alabama because of their defense and guards. Duke is statistically better than Florida defensively. They are also as good offensively.

Who do you trust to get a stop late in a game Duke or Alabama? I can see Alabama coming out hot then Duke reeling them back in.

It is actually a bad match up for Alabama. MSU, Texas Tech, UT, or Houston are all better matchups for Alabama. I do agree if they get by Duke they are playing for the title.
