That's the list. I think because many of us just hate the SEC, we just look and say "Texas had a losing record and losing records in their own league means the other leagues got screwed" but don't look at the other leagues.

There’s 6 sec teams that made the tournament with a below .500 record. If you can’t even get to .500 then that’s what the NIT for.
If the conference is too tough then they shouldn’t have left the BIG12

I'm with ya man. I read the commitment and its fine and all, but anymore until they make it to summer practice, I dont get excited. Cant even get happy heading into spring, bc they will transfer out in May!

Bigs matter, but boy they are hard to find. It is especially hard to find bigs that can shoot and operate below. The problem this year is neither Harris or Cochran could stretch out or operate effectively down low. It clogged the entire offense up.

When they are good they could shoot or create from every position. He used to have it, shooters at every position. I would find 4-6 players that are proven shooters to surrounded an average sized big that is an excellent defender you can funnel people. That big has to either be able to shoot or be really good at the pick and roll stuff.

Easier said than done but there is no substitute for good shooting. It opens up the entire game.

The SEC has benefits greatly from having key veterans return while adding legit guys from the portal. I think the SEC will have a transition year in 2026. They still have great coaches but more reliant on portal to rebuild their rosters. On the flip side the ACC almost all the rosters were flipped. Clemson-Wake returned the most. Still not sure what happened with Wake.

This weekend will be a good one. UK is a matchup nightmare for UT. They haven’t been able to shut UK down and their offense can disappear against UK. Really interesting to see.

They have to a get to the point of caps and contracts that limits transfers. I think having annual free agency is the main problem. In this current environment they can and should test the market yearly. It moves the market higher and higher.

Until then the mid majors are screwed. They will lose all the key guys.

It is a very slippery slope they are walking on because basketball viewership has been declining. There weren’t many high level games. This next round will be good.

If it's like Duke, Florida, Auburn, and Houston as a chalk #1 seed FF, then it'll be exciting to me in all honesty. Great coaches, great talent, and great teams. I personally don't care about the conference labels.
