Although it is very early…have you heard any practice tidbits you could share? Interested in the competition, which should be great, and how that all works out. Will Emily earn a starting rile? Does Payton push for significant minutes? How does Sydni compare to our other bigs?

Not Cardchick….but I understand that the Vandy transfer is better than originally thought. And I think the coaches thought she was pretty good to begin with!

Not real sure about the Cardchick reference or whether I like that...but...Engstler is the real deal and it'll be hard to keep her out of the starting lineup. Hall is a excellent playmaker guard -- don't see her bumping HVL or Kasa out of a starting role...but she's impressed the coaches so far

The freshmen will add depth to the guard and post spots...Sydni has that long wingspan that will make her great on defense and Verhulst is very good at creating in the offensive sets.

As should should well know, its not the starting five that Coach Walz worries about, it's the five he can put out there for the final five minutes of a close game.

Thanks. I figured Emily will get lots of clock. Payton is a baller and should provide minutes. I was hoping Sydni might be able to get in some and provide some rim protection. CJW has lots of options for sure.
