Louisville Volleyball won in Tallahassee Sunday in three sets -- 25-17, 25-20, 25-21.

No Anna DeBeer, no Cara Cresse? No problem, it turns out. Nena Mbonu and PK Kong filled in nicely for the #2 Cards.

The Cards extended their unbeaten streak in ACC play to 31 straight matches and now stand at 11-1 overall and move to 2-0 in ACC play. Claire Chaussee had a team-high 12 kills, n ace and two blocks. Phekran Kong had four kills and five blocks. Libero Elena Scott had 14 digs and an ace with setter Raquel Lazaro adding 32 assists and three blocks. The Cardinals hit .284 as a team with eight aces and 11 blocks.

Every time FSU would menace, the Cards quelled the rally. A great example is from the final set, where FSU was within one at 22-21. The Cards got a timeout and after the timeout, Akio Jones hds a kill and Claire had two kills to end the set and the match.

Louisville comes home now, to face Clemson Friday night at 7 p.m. and Georgia Tech Sunday at 1 p.m. The Cards will be on ESPN again on Sunday.
