The Payne-less era begins

All I can think of when I hear that dipshits name is how "broken" we were and how year one was actually year "zero" and how year two was year "one" and how it was going to be at least a 5 year rebuild.. And that dipshit Jerry Eaves backing him up every step of the way.. He should've been so embarrassed that he left town with Eeyore Payne.. All the fans that are still around after the last 7 years are truly the diehards... I gotta admit, if this year would've been another train wreck I would've
probably folded.. Thank God for PFK..!

losing to stanford was not enjoyable. being crushed by smu was not enjoyable. and if we lose to uk tomorrow the season would be an absolute failure and our coach should be let go. so would not call the fb experience enjoyable. we're 7-7 in our last 14 games and if uk beats us for the 6th straight time then we'll be under .500 over the last year plus. so if you call that enjoyable, you need to get out more. bball team, now that's enjoyable. the IU game was the most fun any fan has had in years in any sport. let's hope the run continues later today, but OK looked good yesterday.
we got crushed by SMU? I’ll admit that we had some tough losses. But that’s how the football bounces sometimes. We also beat Clemson at Clemson at night. That’s a huuuuuge win for any program.
This football team always played hard, and that’s all you can ask for.
Something is not right about your post. Did Coach Brohm bully you, or steal your girlfriend in grade school. Lol I kidding with ya but I do wonder why you or anyone would want Coach Brohm fired after what we’ve witnessed his first 2 seasons. Don’t make sense..,

It's incredible the difference in coaching. I think in a few years ESPN will do a 30 for 30 on how a University almost destroyed its elite basketball program by giving the keys to the most under qualified coach in the games history.

I remember arguing vehemently with others here on this board after the 4 and 28 season that no way should KP get a 2nd season. It was so obvious he didn't know what he was doing.

It almost completely ruined my fandom of college basketball. I rarely watched any games the past two seasons, any teams. I didn't watch the NCAA tournament or fill out a bracket. Something I never thought possible as I've been a huge fan since 1980.

All I could think about when a game was on was how Louisville was the keystone cops and I just couldn't deal with it. It was like why bother, my favorite team doesn't exist anymore. Like some have said, we actually did receive the death penalty for the scandal.

But alas, all that is over and although very flawed, this Louisville team makes basketball fun again.
I know EXACTLY how you feel.

It was obvious that “UofL” didn’t care…so why should I?

Jeez, cheer up, pal. We’re going bowling, and have a great shot at 9 wins after a 10 win season last year. Stanford was a bad loss but those happen. I think your problem is expectations. After last year you were expecting huge things even with big roster churn and a much tougher schedule. After the last few years you have very low expectations for basketball so their performance is thrilling. Perspective please. Also, stop calling for the coaching staff to be fired (with one exception I’ll allow for Ron English). They have a winning ACC record and a winning overall record. I am confident for a victory at UK tomorrow to end yet another losing streak (Clemson).
It's simply ridiculous to suggest Brohm should be fired even if he loses the next two games. Why would any other reputable coach consider Louisville if they fire their coach after just two seasons? The "hometown boy" coach at that.

Not all losses are on the coach. Sometimes players give it away like last seasons UK game. The Stanford loss was on both.

I certainly can agree this season hasn't been sunshine and lollipops, but it's a process building a program. From one season to the next, a transfer QB can come in and be a perfect fit for Brohm's offense, and the Cards could be right back in the ACC championship game.

There's always bumps in the road.
Always remember, IGNORE is your friend. This guy has been on mine for a couple years (maybe more)

I haven’t missed him, nor him me, I’m sure. 🤷‍♂️
