Changes to ACC playoff

I’m surprised that HC’s have not figured out that the BU QB’s NEED to get snaps.

Right before CCG’s, Major Bowls, or the CFP is no time to be getting them “ready”.

Two and sometimes three people play every other position every game. They say “competition” makes them better

But QB’s don’t have to compete. They get the job and it. Just like the NFL

Then, when they go down, it’s a good chance the season or at least the next game or three do too.

Lamar Jackson

The hatred of Lamar on Facebook boggles the mind. They act like only Lamar is to blame when the Ravens lose, that he's the only QB to turn the ball over. They don't give him any credit for the great plays he makes.

It's absurd. The Ravens have great teams to get past every season and they have been very close to getting over that hump. Not doing so yet is not because of Lamar. It will happen soon but the haters will not acknowledge it. How can anyone can hate Lamar Jackson, the most humblest and dedicated player in the game?

i have a feeling the terms "landing' a recruit doesn't apply to CPK like it does normally as it implies that we got lucky to get this kid. i think he's so analytics driven that they chose who they want instead of a kid choosing us. i think the future will be kids saying how lucky they got an offer like the dozens of others they get, it's a privilege to play here, and only the best are welcome under CPK.

ESPN says Cards have work to do

it's all good people, happy times. we are in the tourney, espn and lunardi never get the tourney even remotely correct. lunardi has worst prediction %'s and he's just living off the bracketology terms. as i said before, just win and everything takes care of itself. when we beat duke in the acc title game, we will be a #2 seed. just win from there and it all takes care of itself as it should.

Changes to ACC playoff

Yeah but in that scenario, it seems you are more likely to get a true #1 vs #2 than what we saw in the CFP. I think most people would think we would get the greatest game played all season and no matter what you do, you may never get that, especially I think in the CFP. I think you'll see more instances of what happened to Georgia. Their QB got beat up through a more difficult regular season than say a team like Indiana and because of injury Georgia wasn't able to defend their title.
They weren’t able to defend their title because there weren’t good enough to do so. This is a competition of full 85 man rosters. The team with the best depth usually wins over a long season.

ESPN says Cards have work to do

The phrase "work to do" from that ESPN piece meant one thing. Louisville wasn't presently in the NCAA tournament and has a under 50 percent chance they will unless they win more games.

That is bullshit and every Cards fan should agree. Of course if they go on a 5 game losing streak things would be different. That's the case with most every team. They all have work to do.

Now this thing with ESPN'S computer model I don't know, but what I do know is the people running that department at ESPN had to know saying Louisville wasn't in yet, but the ACC teams they beaten were likely in was total BS!
