Sarcasm? Naivete? Or just ignorance ?
Whatever. Another one on ignore.

Having lived in Santa Monica, I can assure you every Southern California resident knows that Sanata Ana winds are regular visitors to the are. While those winds definitely explain the extend of the fire damage, and the low humidity certainly added to the conditions for this fire ……. but neither one are considered ignition sources. This fire was so predictable, that State Farm had advised the Governor that it would not renew the insurance coverage if they failed to address the neglect of the forestry floor. You cannot control any fire without water. As someone who lived in So Cal for 4 years, I can confirm that the Mayor and Governor are responsible for the Santa Ana winds and extreme low humidity. 😏
Glad Miller and his family were not injured.
She didn’t…because we had one of the top two liberos in the country playing for us.This just seems to be a trend for the past 3 years now, top Louisville volleyball players are going to other programs when one of the top programs is right here. In this recent case if she is as good as she is ranked Louisville is the perfect opportunity for her since Scott has graduated. I really don’t remember Schrand getting that much playing time at the libero position.
And back at you. I enlisted in 1986 and lived in South Carolina, Texas and Georgia. Seems like a thousand years ago.Speaking from one Amy Vet (Vietnam-Era) to another, thank you for your service to our Country, Mr. Realville.
Stubhub doesn’t print the tickets. They ultimately come from the university- ticket/holders who bought them resell them. So yes, the university benefits. But not really more than if we were playing Kansas State. There were a lot of green and gold in the stands when we played ND but begs the question, if they bought tickets through Stubhub or whatever, how does the University benefit from that? Concessions are concessions, do ND fans eat and drink more than other fans? I fail to see any real substantial benefit.
Went back and looked it up, scheduling ND at home is basically the same as having UK at home, about 58,000. I guess more ND fans would stay overnight and eat at restaurants in town so I could see how the city might benefit from that but again that's not the University.
