Miller Moss Family Home Destroyed

As someone who lived in So Cal for 4 years, I can confirm that the Mayor and Governor are responsible for the Santa Ana winds and extreme low humidity. 😏

Glad Miller and his family were not injured.
Having lived in Santa Monica, I can assure you every Southern California resident knows that Sanata Ana winds are regular visitors to the are. While those winds definitely explain the extend of the fire damage, and the low humidity certainly added to the conditions for this fire ……. but neither one are considered ignition sources. This fire was so predictable, that State Farm had advised the Governor that it would not renew the insurance coverage if they failed to address the neglect of the forestry floor. You cannot control any fire without water.

Your sarcastic defense of Bass and Newsome will not protect either Bass or Newsome political future.

This just seems to be a trend for the past 3 years now, top Louisville volleyball players are going to other programs when one of the top programs is right here. In this recent case if she is as good as she is ranked Louisville is the perfect opportunity for her since Scott has graduated. I really don’t remember Schrand getting that much playing time at the libero position.
She didn’t…because we had one of the top two liberos in the country playing for us.

Does the ACC profit from Notre Dame football

There were a lot of green and gold in the stands when we played ND but begs the question, if they bought tickets through Stubhub or whatever, how does the University benefit from that? Concessions are concessions, do ND fans eat and drink more than other fans? I fail to see any real substantial benefit.

Went back and looked it up, scheduling ND at home is basically the same as having UK at home, about 58,000. I guess more ND fans would stay overnight and eat at restaurants in town so I could see how the city might benefit from that but again that's not the University.
Stubhub doesn’t print the tickets. They ultimately come from the university- ticket/holders who bought them resell them. So yes, the university benefits. But not really more than if we were playing Kansas State.

Some youngsters out of high school want to travel outside their hometown. They want to have somewhere that may become a 2nd home. I was like this as a 18 year old looking to go to college.

I was close to attending Dayton but out of state costs eventually halted that. I ended up going to WKU and I was a Cards fan. I just wanted to experience somewhere else, knowing Louisville would always be my home.

Well, a year at WKU didn't do it for me, so I ended up enlisting in the US Army. I got my traveling in and after six years, I've been in Louisville ever since.

This VB player may be a Cards fan but wants to experience life outside of Louisville?

Miller Moss Family Home Destroyed

This is nothing new. Be it Hurricanes, tornadoes, or forest fires. Those politicians in charge of these areas have to be accountable for insufficiency. Is that politics or is it common sense?

What exactly does politics mean? A lot of people now use it as making something political when the situation doesn't apply to it. To believe raging fires, destroying a city where there's a lack of water and firefighters, is not worthy of political accountability is as naive as it gets.

The mayor and the governor are responsible for the city of Los Angeles and the state of California. That is not being political. I'm sure the Moss family has questions for the politicians about what happened to their home.
