Louisville Volleyball is home at the on-campus L&N Federal Credit Union Arena (LNFCU) this weekend and having big success.
They got the broom out on Missouri Friday and did the same to South Dakota last night. The Cards took the straight set triumph 25-15, 25-12, 25-15 Saturday Night.
Louisville hit .316 with 36 kills adding eight service aces, 11 blocks and 34 digs. Amaya Tillman had seven blocks with Aiko Jones contributing five. Elena Scott led the team with 13 digs and Tori Dilfer tallied 26 assists for the match. Tonight's sweep marks the Cardinals' fourth of the season in five matches.
Louisville takes that 5-0 record into today's match against NKU. NKU did defeat South Dakota on opening day of the Cardinal Classic 3-1 before losing in straight sets to Mizzou yesterday. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
