Now I'm sure we're going to read this week how BC lost by only three points against FSU. They have a young dual threat QB who is dangerous. Yet, they're 14 point dogs.

Louisville on the other hand just barely survived a comeback from Indiana. The Cards lost to BC last season so most should be surprised at the high betting line.

But if you look closer, you would see BC losing to Northern Illinois and then beating a FCS Holy Cross by just three points. Imagine what we would be saying around here if the Cards beat Murray state by just three points.

I believe Brohm hasn't come close to showing what he wants to do offensively yet. Now that ACC games are lined up, I think we're going to see more creativity offensively. He felt he didn't need to show much to beat IU and it nearly backfired.

This game will tell a lot on what may or may not happen this season. BC's defense should be in for big trouble against the Cards while the Cards defense will be keyed in on the QB who leads the team in rushing.

Look for Thrash and Jordan to have big games.

The FSU vs BC game was a little fluky. BC recovered a squib quick, they returned a fumble for a TD and FSU QB got banged up. That’s all part of the game but those are the recipe for an odd result. I’m hoping BC is more like their first two games.

Somehow when Jordan Travis got knocked out against us it signaled a sea change and we suddenly looked like 90's Bengals defensively and it led to us discovering Quincy Riley and MJ Griffin...and virtually saying good bye to Kendrick Duncan and nearly the same to Monty Montgomery who looked equally as awful against the Noles.

...though I am oddly comforted by the 14 point spread, and frankly it's time we lived up to it.

Each season BC usually has a home game as big underdogs where they play way over their head and win or come real close.

Last season Louisville was that victim and FSU was lucky to avoid the same fate. They do have a talented QB who's gaining confidence with each game. The Cards need to hit him hard early in the game.

That one game every year is their "bandana" game. They get up for it like no other. FSU almost fell victim to it. I agree with one of the other posts on here that we haven't seen half of the Brohm playbook. I expect to see more creativity from here on out.

Anyone going to place on line bets on sportsbooks on the 28th?

I signed up with DraftKings Sportsbook and been fake betting to see how I fare. I would have won a 4 game parlay last Saturday for $280 on a $10 bet if not for Louisville. Cards -10.

Good thing I couldn't actually place the bet or I would have been upset. These Sportsbooks are a gamblers dream or a nightmare. I've never been mutch of a gambler, not even horse racing, but I'm going to try my hand now that it's legal in Kentucky.

Just want the Dub. Don't care by how much. It wouldn't hurt to look sharp. That 2nd half against IU was not pretty.

It is not unexpected to see a team with so many first year transfers filling up the depth chart to struggle offensively for all 4 quarters.

Not that Satterfield and last year’s team serves as a good barometer, but the early performance to start the season and the much improved performance as the season progressed provides an example of how so many college football teams can evolve. While some decline, often a result from key injuries, most teams seem to improve.

Admittedly, Plummer was horrible, particularly in the 1st half against GT, but it was a credit to Brohm that he let Jack work through it. I expect by mid season this UL offense will show even more improvement that will translate into more efficiency

This season will provide a lot of surprises and while I like our 14 point spread against BC; I would be careful judging the Eagles this early. A struggling UVA gave NCST everything they wanted last night before losing by 3 points …….. we need to be prepared for every single game.

FSU at Clemson will be very interesting ……. Playing in Death Valley is a challenge

Imo, FSU spanks that ass today on national TV.

Clemson has not looked great this year, but their roster is still chock full of 4-5 star kids. WTH Dabo?

Well, it's been obvious so far that NC State is not as good as perceived. I'm sure they'll play their best when Louisville shows up.

The BC QB presents a challenge to the Cards defense but Louisville's offense is an even bigger challenge to BC.

Cards cannot be overconfident that's for sure.
