The tide is turning.
Back in October there was merciless piling on against the University of Louisville. Anyone with a microphone, blog, four letter network or newspaper column could not express enough outrage against us. Venom flowed like wine and it seemed there would be no end to it. Even some local "broadcasters" and radio show hosts who claimed to be UL mouthpieces turned on the program and called for the heads of everyone within the program.

But the winds changed. The program self-imposed the post season ban and so many saw this as the death nail for the program. However, those who so readily predicted total gloom and doom missed something. They missed the character of the players on this team. They missed the willingness of Lee, Lewis, Mitchell, Snider, Nanu and all of the others to not let this ban stand in the way of the legacy of one of the most loved teams in our storied history. This team has displayed such grit, courage and determination that they have won the hearts of everyone. They have become the poster kids of what is wrong with the NCAA and many in the national media have now taken up their cause and openly express the unfairness of this situation. These young men have done what no one else could have done and that is to totally change the perception of our school and our basketball program. They have taken it from shame to admiration and they did it with their character.

And they are not done yet. Salute young Cards...salute!!!

The key word is "if"

Since the silly ban has been enacted, the Cards have stepped their mental game up.
Now you've pissed off Coach Pitino.

IF
Chinanu comes back, no one else leaves,
Mangok comes back,
Q and Donovan work on their defense,
The others improve,
The Cards will be in Phoenix!
