Howie or Chris ?

1.)We lost Robbie Bell as our center in bowl game last year with a knee injury. What is his status? Someone mentioned that he was working with the 2nd team several weeks ago. I mention if he (were) able to play then we could have Bentley play tackle and not have Foy and McNeil on the field at the same time because they don't offer us much.
2.) Any chance Jonathan Greenard is going to play any? The new rules he could still play but earn a redshirt and be a Junior again in 2019.
3.) How's Tobias Little doing? Sorry we lost him at fullback before the season started? Definitely a shoulda, coulda, woulda situation -he was getting good reviews before the season started.

Hope they plan on returning to UL next year.

Next 2 Games Will Be Interesting

I will be interested to see the level of effort by the team over the remainder of the season. It will say a great deal about their view of Petrino if these guys show a great deal more effort after this change, even with only a skeleton staff remaining.

What do you all predict? Will they phone in the rest of the season or show some pride and renewed energy?

Whats next for BP?

I certainly don't wish any ill will towards the man. He's done a lot for UofL football, but it was time for him to go. Kind of like when it was time for Denny to go.

I don't think Bobby stops here. However, his past actions limit his options. I don't think the NFL would touch him after what he did to the Falcons. Don't think he'll get a gig in the SEC either. I'm speaking in head coaching capacities here. As an OC he may have a chance. Wouldn't shock me if he wound up at Bama as an OC. Saban has the clout to hire assistants with baggage (Lane Kiffin) that worked out.

If he's going to remain in college as a HC I think his best chance would be at Maryland as far as P-5 schools go.

I truly hope he lands on his feet and does well. I was at the FSU game 2 years ago and it was an amazing moment to be a part of.

On a couple of Georgia guys...

On Jeremiah Pruitte...

He is not wanting to say too much right now. I am hearing he is likely to stay committed at this time. He was offered by Purdue early, so that is something I have taken note of with Jeff Brohm being a hot name for this job.

Pruitte has also been hearing from Michigan State, Ole Miss and South Carolina recently. The Spartans like him a lot, but they want him as a tight end. Pruitte wants to play WR. I like him as a TE down the road too, personally.

On LB target Jamie Pettway...

He was set to visit officially this weekend. As soon as the news broke, Pettway said he received a call from Louisville letting him know who his main contact is now.

Pettway said, "This does change things for me. I am still interested, but it is hard to say they are No. 1 now."
