HOT BOARD: What if it's not Brohm?
https://louisville.forums.rivals.co...where-louisville-will-turn.42494/#post-520033
7 am Update - No word just yet. I would expect the first word we will hear today will be about a team meeting scheduled at Purdue.
8:30 Update - Brohm is in West Lafayette. We know that. And he hasn't gone recruiting yet today.
10 am Update - No word yet. No word of a team meeting or a decision.
10:45 - Jeff's agent is with him in West Lafayette. That means they are reviewing contracts, and I would bet they have qualifying offers from both schools. I don't think money is the issue at all.
11:05 Update - WDRB is reporting Purdue has called a Team Meeting for 11 am. Not sure about this report because... 1. It is after 11. Unless that means 11 Central? And 2. Purdue players aren't in a meeting.
11:17 Update - At least once source saying no meeting is scheduled for Noon. Or at least not yet.

12:54 update - Shawn Freibert, his agent, has been at Jeff's house all day.
1:06 Update - Jeff's conversation with the recruit Monday night: Update from

1:34 Update - Football Scoop says the issue is about money: "In further conversations with sources, Brohm’s camp requested a salary north of $5 million, while Louisville AD Vince Tyra wanted to keep the figure closer to $4 million."
Howie's Note: I do not believe that to be true.
1:35 Update - Georgia Tech's Paul Johnson is retiring. I don't think Louisville and GT are recruiting similar candidates, but that is at least interesting.
1:55 Update - Football scoop also posted: "With Brohm’s decision still up in the air, sources said Louisville has further meetings planned for tonight with the goal of getting the former Cardinals quarterback back in black and red."
2:30 - Jody Demling just said on 790 KRD that the Brohm family is not planning on another meeting tonight.
5:00 Update - Louisville has a big advocate in their corner during these negotiations. Oscar Brohm wants Jeff to come home to Louisville to save the program. He has made his opinion known, according to someone close to the negotiations (but outside the Purdue program).
