It's ridiculous! They were pre-season top 10 and have the top pick in the NBA draft. The ACC is the weakest It's been in decades. Shouldn't it be a no brainer Duke would lose just one conference game?

Louisville on the other hand, wasn't even expected to have a winning record because they had zero players returning and a brand new coaching staff. Isn't it a no brainer Coach Kelsey would win the COY after losing only two conference games?

Bias! Plain and simple. Louisville has one loss in 2025, beat Clemson by ten points and led most of the game against Duke.

They have dominated the ACC like a high seeded team does in a weak conference, yet unlike Duke and Clemson, that weak conference is a reason to doubt Louisville's results.

It's an absolute joke to have Louisville a #7 seed and Joe Lunardi needs to retire or be replaced by someone who obviously doesn't have a bias against certain teams.

It's just remarkable how he can recite such dominant stats and numbers against a weak ACC conference, but doesn't give Louisville the same props against the same ACC teams.

It's not like Louisville's been squeaking by with their wins. The Cards have five 20 point + wins on the road. Why exactly is Louisville fake and Duke not?

Clemson beat Duke and Louisville beat Clemson. Other than Clemson, Louisville gave Duke It's toughest game in the ACC and that was the first conference game.

No, the only reason for Duke fans to think this way is because of how bad Louisville was the past two seasons. They simply cannot accept such a huge turn around can be legitimate. It has to be fake.

I bet Coach Schyer himself admits Kelsey should be the ACC COY. No one on the planet foresaw Louisville winning 25 games. If it wasn't due to coaching then what is it?

I think we’ll likely be a 5 or the top 6 seed as long as we win our first game.

I always had the hot take that many of our own fans got way too into the 2014 team hype, declaring they were better than 2013. We played really well and the analytics loved the team, but we didn’t have many good wins. Retroactively we talk about beating UCONN because of how they did in March, but they were only a 7 seed. I wasn’t as high on that team as many, mainly due to the AAC not being as strong.
