What about Jay Bilas? You guys respect him? He was calling a game and the ACC being down came up and the other guy said there's probably only going to be 4 ACC teams to make the dance and with 18 teams, there's only two that are ranked in the AP poll.Lunardi has us as a 7-seed, which translates to somewhere between 25-28.
If we’re being disrespected, it’s pretty much a mass conspiracy….
😂 Pretty sure that you completely misunderstood his post. He was talking about the old days when we didn’t have NIL and we didn’t have a December signing day. The first Wednesday in February was like Christmas for a diehard football fan back then. Not really… it was Feb 4th when he flipped.. and also when this was posted, as well as when everybody commented on it. Except for you. 😉

This is a message board to discuss U of L basketball.I've been pretty clear that it's the AP voters who are disrespecting Louisville, not the computer polls, some that have Louisville in the top 15.
This disrespect also has been ongoing not just lately. The GT loss is the only Cards loss since December and normally that wouldn't keep a team from being ranked in February. I don't know any other reason than a lack of respect and that pisses me off. If it doesn't for you, that's fine.
This is a message board and the purpose is to discuss Louisville sports, and it's pretty evident you don't like my opinions or my conclusions, so why don't you just use the ignore button? You like telling others what to do, I will do the same.
This is the first reason I thought as far as rankings go.How do you jump 7 or 8 teams in front of you when none of them lost and you lost to a weak GT team? Clemson did, but they beat the #2 team in the AP poll.

How is being disrespected when our NET is 28. How is being disrespected when in the last 10 years, this is probably the weakest overall ACC league. How do you jump 7 or 8 teams in front of you when none of them lost and you lost to a weak GT team. Clemson did, but they beat the #2 team in the AP poll. How do you get a lot of credit for beating the last place Miami team even without your best player. If you remember Miami got within 3 points of us in the 2nd half. Voters are not supposed to look at injuries but how do they overlook the possibility that we may not have our best player for a while.
Aren't you also the poster that started posting that we were going to lose in the middle of the game and started asking what ifs. Next time why don't you just wait until the game is actually over.

At anytime in the last 40 years or so if Louisville was 18 and 6 and 11 and 2 in conference play, they would be in the top 25. Then add the schedule strength in the top 15 and the amount of double figure wins plus doing this despite major injuries, you have to wonder what the hell is the deal?
Louisville is receiving votes that puts them at 29. That is total bullshit.
It took forever to get ranked and then after the loss to GT who I remind beat Clemson on the road their next game, the Cards apparently have to prove more than others that they are worthy of being a top 25 ranked team.
I know the AP poll doesn't mean anything when it comes to forecasting Louisville's post season chances, so there's no need for retorts to that affect. I'm just legitimately asking why the reluctance of voters when it comes to this Louisville team?
The Cards should be a huge story, with the media praising the turnaround and the excellent coaching that led to it. Instead, Louisville is behind three other teams just out of the top 25.
