Man, yall got jobbed big time

Wonder what would happen if the players said “we’re opting out for the draft. You shafted us so why should we play for your tv game?”

Football does it all the time and it’s “ok” because it’s in their “best interest”.

BB players get hurt. Ask Flagg and our guys.

Pretty sure it would rattle the cage if they didn’t have any games to televise

Wouldn’t bother me either

Reyne Smith status

A leg injury is impactful to a guy like Reyne because most of his shots are beyond the ARC and legs are a big part of successful long-range shooting. If he is not close to 100% I am sitting him if I am KP. As much as I would like to do well in the ACC Tournament, I am more interested in doing well in the NCAA Tournament.
If you were KP, your team wouldn’t be here.

NCAA Selection Sunday

UL’s loss to #1 Duke in the ACC Tournament Championship apparently was totally discounted, particularly the way other conference tournament runner ups who lost to 1 seeds were treated.
This is what they do and it's blatantly in our face yet trying to get somebody other than us to explain it is impossible. They have different guidelines for different leagues or in our case, our team. It's a great point.

Reyne Smith status

Well I thought I did because you said it will be several weeks before Smith could move laterally. If he can't do that Kelsey wouldn't be saying he's ready to go.

Now I think everyone can agree he won't be at 100 percent but if he can't move laterally, then he wouldn't play at all, which is what I took your post as saying.

He's going to be a bit rusty and is game stamina will be shorter, so I'm not expecting a lot from him in the tournament. It is true these kind of ankle injuries take weeks to get over. Something Duke fans are going to notice, despite the ESPN hacks picking them for the final 4.

Man, yall got jobbed big time

Don't think the game yesterday had any effect on the Cards seeding. The committee already had their opinion about Louisville and had the Cards beat Duke, it would have had a minimum effect because Flagg was out.

UK receiving a 3 seed is a travesty as well. The committee didn't consider their injured players or their asses losing by 30, they still rewarded them. UK should have been 5 seed at best.

There was no way Louisville was going to have a high seed this tournament. The committee's decision reflected the voters of the polls all season who waited forever to rank the Cards.

It is what it is, and this current team is just another victim of the sordid scandal that derailed the once mighty program.

I can't think of any other reason. This Louisville team was treated like the Cards were in the MAC or Sun Belt conference and that's the excuse they want to have as their explanation.
