UofL Boosters, NIL, And Transfer Portal

Who do we have returning for next year the announcer in today’s game said Smith was returning. I know at Senior day not all the seniors were called out because they were returning. I remember Hadley was one of them I also heard we were still the front runner for Nate Ament. So many pieces to the puzzle that could change on a daily basis.

Man, yall got jobbed big time

27-8 is a good year no matter who you played, beat or lost to in the season. After the last two years, if I told you Louisville would win 27 games, go 18-2 in conference, you would have laughed me out of town. It’s shows you that rebuilds done the right way can yield results in one year. Sustaining it is the next step.

WV Governor Taking Legal Action Against NCAA Selection Committee

Texas was 11-2 non-conference with a 2-0 record against the ACC
Oklahoma was 13-0 non-conference with a 2-0 record against the ACC, as well as wins over 2 Big 12 schools, a Big 10 school, and a Big East school.

Pretty sure those are good enough numbers for a team to make the tournament, regardless of whether they lose their first game or make the Final Four.
If you take the time to examine TX’s 11-2 OOC schedule, you will see the level of competition was unworthy of any serious consideration, particularly that most were on their home floor.

Judging the ACC by two NCAA tournament games is a mistake. In one case, Clemson obviously had a major problem in the first half scoring, in fact, Hunter was scoreless until 10 minutes were left in the 2nd half. I am convinced that UL was physically worn out over the last 7 games. Chucky and Edwards are warriors, but exhausted as they were getting very little support from the rest of the team.

If Kelsey wants a 10 man rotation, he needs 13 D1 level players, injuries are not accidents, they are predictable. If there was any lesson learned in this first year under Kelsey, is that we must have quality depth able to contribute throughout the course of the season, as our kids were literally worn out from playing way too many minutes by the time we get to post season.

No one remotely associated with the NCAA ever thought about the effect that NIL and the transfer portal would have on academic performance. Not sure how long that requirement will be practical.

Anxious to see who we can attract in the portal.
