I'm not so much worried about who Brohm gets, but more about who I would prefer he get.I agree. The bowl game means little except now who will be starting at QB. I think it has to be Clarkson and that's why he hasn't entered the portal.
I doubt we see any QB commit to Louisville until after the bowl game, even though that is risky. If Brohm doesn't want a shorter QB like Clarkson, I believe the redshirt freshman would already have declared for the portal.
But I could be wrong any day now. I'm not so much worried about who Brohm gets, but more about who I would prefer he get. The dude at Cal, Mendoza is the best I've seen, but he may not be interested?
How do you love it in NC? I really enjoyed it when I lived there.I agree to a degree.
To me however , a bowl game is very important. But who am I? We just pay the freight.
I agree to a degree.A huge rivalry game and breaking a five year losing streak for bragging rights cannot be compared to what amounts to a meaningless exhibition game made even more irrelevant by the expanded playoffs. Nobody blames him for not wanting to play in that. Everybody would have blamed and held it against his legacy of ever playing here not playing in what is the most important game of the year. You don't come to Louisville to not play in the UK game. I don't think that is lost on Tyler at all.
I thought that Edwards played better last night coming off the bench. He played much more controlled! That Bynum dude is a shooter. If the Cards had that threat, the other players would get more uncontested 3's. I was hoping Smith would be this, but he just takes too many bad shots.
Edwards needs to start.

He could have derailed his “career” by playing at uk as easily as playing the bowl.
So he should have skipped uk to “enhance” his career.
That’s how I took it anyway
I’m not ulc but I think he was talking from Shough’s perspective. Is this serious a serious question? The game may not have meant anything to YOU but it did to the VAST majority of Louisville fans. Mind boggling what some of you people come up with.
I agree he is entering the market at a disadvantage. With that said I question the evaluation process of these teams with big budgets. It maybe a Godfather scenario make him an offer he can’t refuse. I don’t get it. He has 13 catches for 158 yds and he is coming off an injury.Jamari was probably my biggest personnel pet and I think he is destined to be a great player; it should be pointed out that our competition to sign him wasn't the Southern California schools, it was Oregon. I believe his family relocated from Pittsburgh to Inglewood in high school and his mom is an educator.
Being hurt in the seventh game he has a handful of very impressive highlights so in a weird way someone can offer him an NIL bump but almost at a bargain. I really hope he reconsiders.

-he risked injury
-the game didn't mean anything
-we weren't playing for playoffs, we weren't playing for the conference title or championship game
-he could have been training for the draft
-the pros already have your film and know what you are, a big performance doesn't really help your draft status
