One of the most refreshing aspects of the win over FSU was that no one qualified the win with a "yeah but". Every big win the in past was always marginalized: "they won the Fiesta Bowl, but others teams didn't want to play in AZ", "they beat #3 WVU, but their conference stinks", "they won the orange bowl, but the ACC was terrible that year", "they won the sugar bowl, but UF was disinterested ".
This win seems so much different in terms of national respect and feels like people are on board that we are now a football big boy.
