Looking like he maybe rightOn Gameday just now 'Kirk the Jerk' was the only one on the panel to pick CMU to win.
Prove him wrong CArds.
It may not actually have been a flag but a yellow piece of equipment or cloth and the ESPN graphics department jumped the gun? I've seen this multiple times this season watching college football.I just don’t understand how the ref could throw a flag and then pick it up. What did he think he saw. It might be he threw a flag and talked to the Head ref and the Head ref said oh no that’s not a penalty. If that is the case he doesn’t need to be out there.
He may assumed it was picked up or just said that to cover for ESPN. It doesn't matter but usually there's an announcement if a flag is picked up.The announcer said there was a flag on the play then said no the ref picked it up.
I saw that block and that usually doesn't get called. If it did, there would be flags all the time. I do agree however is if that was Louisville and it was at a big point in the game, the likelihood of a flag would be greater.Jesus Christ he ran for a TD and nobody was even close to touching him. However on the replay #51 was holding gave him the open lane.
