University of Louisville lacrosse closes out its homestand this Tuesday afternoon when they face off against Vanderbilt at UofL Lacrosse Stadium. The game is set for 12 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

The Commodores are off to a 7-4 start this season, 0-1 in the AAC. Vanderbilt enters Thursday's contest after falling 20-9 at Temple in its conference opener.

The Cards have a 5-7 record and are on a four game losing streak

Louisville is 8-3 all-time against Vanderbilt and 4-1 at home. The Cards are 8-2 in the last 10 meetings.

University of Louisville lacrosse got back in the win column with a resounding 15-6 win over Vanderbilt at UofL Lacrosse Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

"We played hard for 60 minutes today; we've been really searching for a 60 minute game in total effort," said head coach Scott Teeter. "There were a few lulls, but we had a response today which was outstanding."

With the win, Louisville improves to 6-7 on the year, while Vanderbilt moves to 7-5.

The Cards allowed just one goal in the second half.

Louisville goes on a three-game road trip next with stops at Pittsburgh, Niagara and Syracuse.
