Oh there’s always a voice in the wilderness. If that was you, congrats. Pitino was extorted, and the vast majority chose to view him in that light. But we have clairvoyant fans among us who evidently see things and remain quiet, only to pounce when they see themselves as vindicated. I wish I was that smart.
Pitino is the one drama queen we’ve had, and I personally enjoyed 99% of it. The other garbage about aspiring football coaches comes with the territory. Should Jurich have sought out marginal coaches willing to coach in CUSA and a Big East in decline? Of course, no chance K-rag had a wandering eye. And where were the naysayers when he was hired? As usual, nowhere.
Like I said, I wish I could market a fraction of the genius in hindsight we’re blessed with here. I’d be rich...

All I'm saying is all the dramatic things that have happened over the years within the athletic programs have been discussed during those timeframes and obviously beyond.
Nobody is pouncing, no clue why you would see it that way. People are just discussing things already discussed that are a part of the history of the athletic programs, for better or worse. Some threads are rah rah remember the good times, but most threads around here are negative, and that seems to be what you're comfortable with, so not sure why other people's negativity bothers you.
In 20+ years, there are gonna be some events occur, good and bad. Happens with any job/organization. When a guy starts singling out Charlie Strong’s flirtation with Tennessee as some sort of indictment of Jurich, he’s reaching. Not to mention, it’s as I call “genius in hindsight.”

Yeah it's not about anything like that. It's about memory, recall of topics discussed over the years around here and the timelines nothing more, nothing less. There don't have to be winners and losers, right or wrong, etc.
For example, if a poster says, "I don't remember anybody complaining about Katina during the title run" then I'd politely point out to that poster, "Unless people attended Katina's parties on campus nobody knew about Katina until 2015 and since the title run happened in 2013 you'd have to be hanging out with Christopher Lloyd and have the ability to go back in time to be able to talk about Katina during the 2013 title run."

Why wouldn’t you cash checks? Did the contract (There’s that word again) call for payoffs to potential recruits or their parents? If not, then one has every right to complain about behavior outside the deal but continue to cash checks according to the deal.
