I found it very odd that some very vocal Vols fans, didn’t want a male coach? WTH! Great we are elated to keep our sharp, effective, winner male Women’s coach. Vols lose, we win!
Heard 2 days ago, Tennessee was adamant on hiring a Female HC.
Theyd rather have Lawson with no experience over Walz who is close to being the next Auriemma.
Coach Walz should already have 1 Title.

Really glad to hear this Jeff is a great coach and the future of WBB is in great shape. As for Tennessee they are a has been like sUcK they won most of their titles when there were only 4 good team too compete against. WBB has changed a great deal since Tennessee built their reputation.

The only male they would have accepted would have been Tyler Summit and he royaly screwed up.
So is everyone else. That said, Jeff could enjoy tremendous success at UT BUT it will always be Pat's program. It is far better in the long run to stay here with the program that he built. JMO

Well since unemployment in the black community and the Latino community are at record lows I would say for all Americans. Unemployment in the black community under Obama was around 18% under Trump it is around 7%.

Because they aren’t accurate. Unemployment in the African American community during the first year of the Obama administration climbed to 16.8 % in March 2010 because of the effects of the great recession which started during the previous administration. They were reduced to 7.7% by the end of his administration. They are currently 6.7%. I'll certainly give Trump credit for economic expansion in the past year resulting from the tax cuts enacted by the Republican Congress in 2017. I'll leave it to our children and grandchildren to decide if piling a trillion dollars a year onto the national debt to fund those tax cuts makes them worth it.

I worry about the debt also but tax cuts aren't the reason the debt is so high. This is the first tax cut we have had in over 8 years and the debt has been steadily climbing because of spending. My main gripe with the democrats is they keep exporting our jobs to other countries with their policies.

Bill Clinton signed NAFTA which shipped a lot of our jobs to Canada, Mexico and China. If the Democrats gain control of the WH they will sign The Pacific Pact sending a lot of our jobs to the Pacific rim countries. They support open borders bringing in cheap labor so yes they are exporting our jobs no matter how you bend the truth.
You do realize that unemployment during the Obama 8 years was the highest for African American men 20 - 50 years. Highest it had been in years. Unemployment right now is low in all sectors. Whether you like Trump or not the economy is hot.

Open borders is not exactly pro union it is providing cheap labor driving wages down. We spend 134 billion dollars every year accommodating illegal aliens. I would rather spend that money on shoring up Social Security or taking care of our veterans.
We had the highest corporate taxes in the world and bad business policies under Obama. That is what drove corporations to leave the U.S. Actually when you give a corporation a tax break they hire more tax paying employees and you actually create more tax revenue.

Kos most people can’t wrap their minds around the fact that we’re in a global economy now. We have to compete with companies from all over the world. In many cases do to the taxes structure and wages companies are forced to relocate in order to compete. And here’s a news flash that many Dems have a hard time with unless their the one making the money. Companies are in business to make money, they’re not charities. Someone has invested and is continuing to invest and for that they expect a profit. Their every bit as important as the person turning the wrench or packing a box. We have an issue with the big green envy monster. If your complaining about how much money someone makes, don’t forget to look at the guy behind you because he’s the guy your making more than.
We cannot afford everything and it’s about time we reinvest in our country. We have plenty of poor in our country that need assistants long before we bring non citizens here and if we give corporations a break to keep jobs here than that’s a good thing in my mind. Besides more jobs equal more tax dollars it balances out.
