Louisville women's track & field thrower, Jayden Ulrich finished second in the discus throw at the Olympic Trials. Congratulations to her on making the team.

I assumed her second place finish put her on the team. That is wrong. Instead, she is in contention to be named to the USA Track & Field National Team for the 2024 Paris Olympics pending qualification in the final World Athletic rankings.

She made it! Ranked 29th! Veronica Fraley (finished 3rd at the US trials) also in there at 22nd.
