UofL has not shown the talent and speed and hard hitting to win big games since Charlie Strong has left. IF it wasnt for the QB Jackson....this team might have a record of 2-5 right now. It doesnt help when UofL is without the top three RB's, Jeremy Smith, Colin Wilson, and Malik Williams.

Agree with you about the Charlie era. No one thought the BP 2.0 era would look like this.

Even with the healthy RBs they were not being used much in the offense.

It's possible this team doesn't win another game this season.

A loss to BC at home...

Extremely fine line between winning and losing. Instead of making winning plays they are making plays to lose games. They definitely are trending in the wrong direction. Losing 6 out of 10 isn't good especially when they lose where they heavily favored. Keep in my both Purdue and NC are really struggling. Zero good wins and 2 terrible loses in this stretch.

I also think the fanbase is losing faith in the staff and once that happens the end is near. There was no juice in the stadium today until the 4th quarter.

And attendance was less than 45,000 today. Empty seats and poor coaching usually does a coach in.

The stadium should not have been empty today. The team could have salvaged the season if we ended 9-3. The uninspired effort validates the thoughts of those fans that didn't show up. I was there today and what I saw was not the U of L football team from last season even.

They made it very hard to cheer today. I haven’t heard booing since Kragthorpe. And I don’t think it was that loud then. I hope they were booing at the coaches because they are responsible for this mess. I don’t see us winning another game this year. And if something doesn’t change especially on D it won’t be better next year. I do see improvement on the O line; given we’re playing 2 freshman I expect those issues. But let’s be honest we score 42 points we should win. So the offense in my mind did their part; mostly do to LJ.

I also think the way college football is structured leads to poorly attended games. Fans don't care about going to bowls anymore. When your teams season is effectively over by game 7 attendance is going down. Then put a below average product on the field then it goes down more. The games are entirely too long with way too many delays and reviews. The Louisville football fanbase is smaller with years like this it shows.

Every school has years like this we have been fortunate to avoid for a while. I don't think any of us thought we would see this kind of team under Petrino though. The staff has to rebuild the defense and unfortunately the guy running it doesn't appear to be the right guy.

Waaayyyyyy too many TO’s.

And review should go away. The talking heads, and everybody in the stadium see one thing, and 75% of the time, they guy upstairs sees something totally different.

Then the TV guys say “unbelievable” and go on.
