I was surprised to see the Cards such a large favorite and apparently so does the computers. When looking at websites that predict college basketball games, the computer pick is vastly different than the line on the Morehead state game.

It predicted a 85 to 63 Morehead win so it advises to take the +19. I tried a different website and it's the same thing. Morehead State will win.

I'm guessing the computer is using the past two seasons for information and of course wasn't impressed. Some of these sites also have human predictions and that is a Louisville win but not covering the line.

It shows you just how far the program has fallen when a computer picks it to lose by 20 as 19 point favorites against Morehead State. It's the weirdest thing seeing the matchup with Louisville - 19 but the predicted score is Morehead by 23.

I wonder how many bettors will be picking Morehead State?

Louisville wins by 30+
I don't think so, but I don't know much about Morehead State other than they're not going to be intimidated.

I think it will probably be more like 20 points. 84 to 64, but wouldn't be surprised if it's closer than expected. There will be some nerves in the first real game, but these are very experienced players for Louisville so it shouldn't do much harm.

If the Cards do win by 30 that would get the attention of the hoops world for sure.

Again, I can understand the shyness because that last turd was historically bad, but we have at least 10 guys(?) that were in the tournament last year that are upper classmen, many of which are 5+ years playing college ball. I plan on making a butt ton of money on UL over the first month of this season because betting sites are going to use historical data. 95+ to under 65 is final score. 30 point victory at the minimum.

Morehead is picked to come in 5th in the OVC in preseason poll. They might not be as good as they were last year. They will be best team Louisville has played so far. I could see around a 20 pt win for the Cards.

yeah, line looks about right to me. Was hoping it was going to be about 14 and I was going to hit it.

Can see us rolling if shots fall

our line coverage this year may be dependent on the 3's falling because we are going to let them fly

I'm going with a parlay of +21 for Morehead and the over 148.

Same with +20 for Wright state against UK and the over 162.

A same game parlay plus with 4 legs. A $10 bet pays $200.

I wanted to take both UofL and UK and the big spread but I think it's probably going to be under 20 points.

Cards 86
Morehead 68

UK 93
Wright State 76

Wait till Saturday. I'm drooling at the thought of getting points against a highly ranked Tenn team. I'm figuring it will take a bit before people wake up so definitely money to be made. This is a very solid team that's 12 deep.

You think we’ll get some points at home against Tenn. man that would be a nice gift!
We either get points or vegas has got their stuff together more than the uneducated voters. Both can be true, though I'm guessing if the line is close it will be driven up higher in the vols favor by bettors.

As I tried to tell ya brother… 30+. Easiest $200 I’ve ever made.
Better luck to ya next time.
Oh, I had another parlay with the points but Texas is costing me the parlay win.

Looks like both UofL and UK are cupcake eaters.

Definitely will be looking at the UT game. I'm thinking it may be - 5.5 Tennessee.
