Getting embarrassed. We are poorly conditioned and poorly coached. We don’t have elite talent. Sad times that we were excited to be moderately competitive for one half. What the f has Payne been doing? Get their asses on a treadmill and Payne needs to get his ass out there and recruit. Do your job!

I am kicking myself for renewing my season tickets. I will not next year.

I'm going to interrupt you from yourself.

It's going to be hard to watch.

That said, it's probably time to shake up the lineup and try something new.

It took them too long to score and it's obvious this 5 isn't cutting it.

They've fallen behind every game.

He may wait until they get back and have a chance to practice.

We don’t even have average talent. KP will start getting talented players now that the NCAA is off UL’s back. He’s a great recruiter and kids love him. He’ll be successful here, but it takes time. Be patient. He’ll get there.

I disagree on one point. Louisville does have some elite talent. They just are playing so far below their potential.

Overall though, yes, yes, and yes.

No one is elite with this group of coaches. But with some other coach? I think you’d see the talent that is there.

They weren’t elite under Mack and aren’t elite under Payne. Huntley-Hatfield wasn’t elite at Tenn and isn’t elite here. They are 0 for 2.

I’m not disagreeing per se but, there is more talent on this team then the first four teams that beat them and, more in general than they’re showing. Not enough that they can go through the motions and win for sure. They simply won’t play hard for Payne.

Why is the question.

0-3 if you want to count with our interim last year, for a few.

These star ratings aren't the end all. And when we compare results for what a HOF coach was getting out of a certain level player to what other coaches are getting it's just a bad analysis because the points of measurement are too far apart to begin with.

Yes, RP > KP.

The closer you look, you see many of these 4* are back end 4* also, and green. Like FR or SOPH green. The kind of guys that should be eased into playing time, not asked to start the game and go 30+.

Everyone knew KP was going to need more talent. But nobody thought this was going to go this badly. So, this sucks. Yeah.

It's a good question, because they all could have transferred out. If Cross can find a D1 home all of them could. You would think that deciding to stay would mean they'd want to play for Payne.

Looks like the program would have been better off if everyone transferred.

Without a doubt. From my view in the cheap seats it’s: Lack of Effort + Lack of Preparation + Lack of In-Game Adjustments = Getting Beat by Inferior Teams and getting blasted by more talented teams. Coach Cal ball clearly doesn’t work with average talent. So really it comes down to if Payne can get top shelf talent.

have to give it time and be patient. KP said it would be like the Titanic for a while. he has said it would get even uglier than now.

the fans who want him fired are the same who said Coach Satterfield should be canned. but we have a top 25 football team now after some tough seasons.

Honest question are you happy with the product you're seeing on the court right now?

Look, if Payne and staff miraculously turned this team into a top 25 team, I would be one of the first to admit I was wrong. I would LOVE nothing more than for Payne to be the savior of the program and lead us back to glory but so far that seems monumentally far from happening.

Answer…Yep….If I’m a UK fan!!!!

Payne learned under Crum.
Danny Manning learned under Larry Brown.
Nolan Smith learned under Coach K.

How in the hell does that translate into absolute garbage? Helen Keller could have coached this team to a win so far. KP isn't going to last. It was a great story in the beginning.

The last two were the assistants and not the head coach. I'd probably argue that what Payne learned under Crum may be largely irrelevant at this point. It was too long ago, and he was a teenage player and not a coach. Not to mention before Denny retired, he kinda proved his own knowledge was becoming obsolete.

Payne was a crapshoot as a coaching hire, and many of us said as much. It's simply playing out...

I can tell that they love him by how hard they play for him
