DBK in her contract specifically put clause if Nebraska came open, Congrats to Her!

Congrats to her and she raised the bar for Cardinal Volleyball. Good Luck to her. It's her dream job and her contract was written to give her that chance to leave only if nebraska came open.

Everyone following VB knew about that clause in her contract. Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be upset about it. While I ‘get it’ I am still pissed off. I hope Neb me er wins another vb match EVER.

As soon as I saw the news, I could not help but think about Denny when Wooden retired and UCLA extended that prestigious opportunity to return to Southern California. Denny chose “the road less traveled”, and made a difficult decision to remain at UL where he would be out of the shadow of Wooden.

The situations with DBK and Crum are not exactly the same, and it would be a mistake to suggest that they are; as I can see where DBK is entrenched deeply into Nebraska, well beyond where Denny was at UCLA.

I am a UL fan first and foremost, so I join Bardman in hoping that Dani’s decision to leave UL turns out badly for both her and Nebraska.
