Bad Weekend to be a fan of any FL school

they all lost. from cbssports, dolphins are teh only hope lol
It's been a rough one for the Sunshine State this weekend. For the first time since the FBS era began in 1978, a state's teams went 0-6 in a single weekend.
FIU, thankfully for the state's honor, was off in Week 11. It got worse when adding FCS teams: Florida A&M, Stetson and Bethune-Cookman also lost. Then, it got even worse on Sunday in the NFL when the Jaguars and Buccaneers lost. The Dolphins play Monday night to see if the misery can be truly maximized.

My choker award for this past weekend goes to Utah at home with runner up going to Pitt.

Biggest surprise to me was GT and how much they dominated Miami on the lines of scrimage and the scoreboard. Well done.

Best and most entertaining game for those of you that stayed up for the late game and watched, was BYU/Utah. Strangest call I've ever witnessed in all my years of watching FB that factored in heavily in that games outcome. Utes gat robbed,

This was a good week for most picr's and I was able to bounce back this week.
But Curse you Pitt, Cuse, LSU and UCinn. Bunch of weenies especially the Tigers of LSU.
How much longer will the Bayou tolerate Brian Kelly???.

Good fortune with this weeks games fellows. There are a couple of interesting matchups with the Bonus Games this week...I am pulling for UT over UGA, and UVA to upset ND. Also, looking forward to CU/Pitt and BC/SMU games . Just keep pic'n and grinnin!

WF @ UNC - The state school triumphs over the private school in the Carolina duel...my who cares game of the week

Cuse @ Cal - The Bears put the Orange Crush on the Cuse and win another league game

UVA @ ND - The Irish play cavalierly and still roll the Cavs by double digits..would like to see the ACC upset though


BYES: Duke, FSU,GT, Mia, NC St, VT and IU - UK might beat Murray State...well maybe if healthy


UTenn @ UGA - In this game of the day in the SEC, the Dawgs put it together and vanquish the Vols easily

Mizzu @ USCjr - 2nd best SEC game to watch has the Gamecocks smash this Tiger team by 2 scores or more

UC @ ISU - Will Satt right the ship? Or will the Cyclones blow another game? Aaagh, ISU prevails by a little

AzSt @ KS St - This wildcat team pulls the shade over these Sun Devils and beats the heaven out of them

Oregon @ Wisc - No upset here as the Ducks walk all over the not so tough cheezy weezzy Badgers

TX @ Ark - Longhorns romp in this game over the pitiful razorbacks as fans demand money back from sucky team

KU @ BYU - The team on the mission continues to whip the B12 pedigree teams, so sad for KU but not too sad

XXX -Ill @ Rutgers - Scrub this game...i made a mistake. Sorry for the confusion.

My upset hope is with Pitt to beat Clemson to help the Cards out. With UVA vs ND being the other one I would really like to see happen.

And of course BC over SMU would be nice...but BC never wins when I pick them too so there is that factor for me.
I would also like to see UT upset UGA to give them a third loss...but have no faith in the Vols at all.

I don't see how 5 SEC make it, unless they predetermine before the conf championship. Lot of football left and several of those teams have to play each other.

4 Big 10 on the other hand looks likely bc the conference sucks so bad and most of the teams at the top all didn't have to play each other. OSU, Oregon, and Penn St look like locks. It comes down to what IU does vs OSU, bc their SOS is awful!!

Either way BYU, Boise, and ND look very likely. 1 or 2 ACC teams so that leaves 7 or 8 spots for those 2 conferences. Going to be very interesting!!

That pregame line was unbelievable. Tennessee was ranked 12th and we were ranked 65th at best. How they put us as a favorite is beyond me. If I was a Tennessee fan I would've loaded up on that..

I’ve been around long enough to KNOW that we can beat a lot of teams, and we can lose to a lot of teams.

Therefore, I go into almost every game looking to win because I know we can.

I don’t care to go through life bitching about my team sucking before the Kickoff.

Because Louisville has beaten them a bunch of times. If you're going to use past games why not use that stretch when Louisville won something like 8 out of 10?

They can be sky high all they want. They don't have a QB so they don't have an offense. They're not going bowling and many on their team will already be packing their bags before this game is over.

They have nothing to play for except the rivalry but once they get down by a couple of scores, they will start thinking about what they're going to do next.

Louisville on the other hand have all kinds of motivation to win.

We better worry about Stanford. We almost laid an egg at BC. Nothing is a surety for this team. Pitt will be a tough game too.

No, Pryor must be in the lineup.

Edwards is not a reliable 3 point shooter. He has a windup to get his shot off which takes too long. Scoring Koren I believe is a better offensive PG than Chucky, but not as good a defensive PG.

I think Waterman has a chance to be one of the better 6th man on the season.

UT was motivated as they felt disrespected that they were suddenly the underdog. Plus, they didn't play their best in their first game.

They have a good, veteran head coach and three starters back from elite 8 team. They're experienced enough to know they had to hit Louisville early in the game, and the upstart Cards would no doubt struggle to adjust to adversity for the first time.

It was pretty much clear cut and why it's ridiculous for fans to say this was just like the KP teams. Remember last season when Louisville played a ranked Texas I believe was the 3rd game of the season?

Texas overlooked Louisville and it took a last second shot for them to win. We Cards fans had hope because this was a ranked team. Turned out it was a total outlier which I believe this 22 point loss to Tennessee will be also.
