Bracketology and Rankings.... Huh???

We looked like against EKU we had hit a wall, but since we have seen needed growth from James Scott, an all-floor game from Edwards that really wasn't expected and tremendous high level play from Chucky Hepburn. Getting Traore's unique skill set back was the cherry on top in Charlottesville.

There is still potential for Rooth's to give us more production which is important because those minutes and Traore's come at the expense of Waterman who clearly has his limitations. I probably expend more negative energy cushing at the television on Waterman than anyone sense Chane Behanen's fumbling the ball out of bounds from point blank range for the two months pre-BET back in the Championship Year.
CH:
I too was a little mystified by our performance against EKU, but some of these unranked schools can be competitive on a given night beyond expectations. The Colonels refused to go away, and they hit some unbelievable 3s while finishing 10-25 from deep, and committed only 11 TOs. Sometimes we forget that most D1 teams can compete "on a given night" with just about anyone, and EKU played on that night about as well as they have all season.

CPK Post Clemson PC

Such a humble guy. That is how you are supposed to do a press conference.
It’s refreshing to have an intelligent, humble and passionate coach. Payne had none of those qualities and Pitino had intelligence and passion but with a huge dose of arrogance. At this point if you aren’t behind PK as our coach you never will be. It’s great to be able to enjoy watching basketball again!

UK rolled over because they weren't playing for a thing. There were a few downs where I focused on Walker and their interior line and it might as well have been when they had Matt Elam just standup all 6"7, 380+ not doing anything more than blocking sunlight.
I disagree with that. Beating us was the ONLY thing they had to play for and if they had it would have been 5-6 straight. They should have been highly motivated to beat us to salvage any pride out of a crappy season for them.

We beat Clemson and the Slapdicks, that's worth a solid B. We legit could've beat ND, Miami, and SMU and as mentioned by everyone in this thread the Stanford game was a train wreck all systems failure. We were not prepared for that game at all. So with the 3 close losses and a bowl win I would give us a A- but the loss to Stanford knocks it down to a B- minus for me. That was an unforgivable loss..
That is exactly how I would have graded it too. Stanford put a stank on the whole season.

I think that's what sucks about the Kentucky win is that they weren't good.
