Niko Bundalo

Supposedly we are a name to look out for for Niko Bundalo, according to a couple of Twitter Recruiting pages, including Trilly. Originally had a final 4 of UConn, UNC, MSU and Ohio State. But word is he is eliminating a few from this list and completely reevaluating his recruitment. Top 25-30 guy depending on what site you look at. Ty, any word on this?

How come I don’t feel good about

the rest of the season? We won last night and I should be happy but my disgust is for this conference I’ve come to hate so much. I don’t feel like we have a chance in most of the upcoming games due to the obvious bias this conferences leadership has for us.
I don’t want to hear how Louisville should play through it and win every game anymore because that’s a dumb take. Officiating matters, especially in key parts of the game when they hit us every game.
You can see the frustration on Brohm knowing it’s coming sooner or later in the game and honestly I wouldn’t blame him for leaving because of the way they call his games.
Just last night, offensive pass interference was allowed to free a BC receiver to run down the sideline wide open. There’s a reason they have a rule receivers can’t go block and not run a route and that was it. Ashton was held numerous times right in front of the official yet they didn’t miss a chance to call holding on us. And of course the picked up flag for pass interference, they didn’t even discuss it, the ref walked up and said pick it up.
I know I’m ranting but something has to be done and I don’t want to hear about it being bad everywhere because no team has a bullseye on its back like Louisville does from the ACC.
I hope your feelings feel better. ❄️

How come I don’t feel good about

I agree that would be weird but there's plenty of things going on these days that are weird.

I do believe it's most likely just ineptitude and the ACC is worse than the other conferences for some reason. However, we are seeing things we haven't seen before and that is the reason so many think it's being done on purpose.

Double PI and picking up the flag after a discussion. Replays being overturned when everyone knows if it's not crystal clear, the call stands.

In each of Louisville's losses, the expert official the TV network has to give his opinion has disagreed with the officials on these huge calls that went against Louisville. I can see maybe once or twice but four or five times within five games?

We didn't lose to BC, but that PI flag being picked up late in the game could have cost the Cards again.

It's got so bad for Louisville that even replays are not a guarantee the right call is going to be issued. It just looks like if there's any small opening to go against Louisville, it's being taken. How many of us thought that scoop and score by BC was going to stand? The replay was so clear he was down, they couldn't change it, but the fear was there for Louisville fans for a reason.

Maybe it's not corruption or cheating but the football team is jinxed or cursed? That would definitely be weird. We have had more of our share of bad luck that's for sure.

How come I don’t feel good about

Jeez this is a stupid topic that thrills the conspiracy loons I guess.

Nobody was more pissed watching horrible calls and missed calls go against my beloved Cards this year (and before) but if you can’t understand that most of these officials are much more incompetent (= not well paid) than biased, well, you’re just ignorant or even worse, willfully ignorant.

There were totally horrible calls against BC last night as well as Virginia and Georgia Tech before. Watch the games over again and you’ll see. Has it been more calls this year that have gone against us than the other guys? Sure but just because you didn’t get the result (or the money that you thought you’d win because it sucks), is really such an immature take but let’s blame someone else for what sucks for you. It’s rigged if it doesn’t go my way 🥲.

Just imagine how incredibly weird it is that you think the ACC hates Louisville so much that is has passed the orders down to the league referees.

It's probably already been discussed, but the structure of this year's schedule blows.

We look at other teams like SMU on our schedule the way other teams look at us… Tough, but a winnable game. At some level, it’s a lack of respect and a distortion of reality.

Last year, we won more than our fair share of close games leading to a further distortion this year.

Based on play thus far, we’re a coin flip IMO between 6 or 7 wins. Eight wins would be a damn good finish.
