Have to say kind of disappointing schedule. Non conference is three cupcakes and UK. Not much value there.
No telling yet who the better ACC teams will be with another portal period still to come. Clemson will likely be pre season ranked and the next toughest ACC opponents on the schedule are road games.
First six home games should be a snooze.
Louisville has a chance to make the playoff but most likely can't have more than two losses and that would be as ACC champion. The schedule could be very similar to Indiana's this past season if these ACC teams have off years.
Miami like Michigan, Pitt like Washington, SMU like Nebraska.
If the Cards get by Pitt, they should be 5 and 0 going to Miami. Lose this game, the playoff is likely out of reach.
Louisville needed a better non conference opponent than Bowling Green. I was hoping we would start playing some Big 12 teams like Texas Tech, Kansas State, Baylor or even old foes Cincinnati and UCF.
But who knows? Maybe Pitt or VT will be lights out? Maybe SMU will be even better? Same with Miami?
The schedule is more than manageable. Making the playoff has to be the measure of a successful season.
