The GT coach looks like Bob Knight on the sidelines, already receiving a 15 yard penalty. The SEC team benefiting will once again be the controversy, but for me, it's just unbelievable how poor the officiating is in collegiate sports.

Because they (or more importantly their donors) want to win. I’m with you- I think the scandal in college athletics was the academic one, with kids taking minimum classes in cake majors just stay eligible, then leaving school with nothing. Colleges used these kids, then discarded them. Coaches used the kids and got rich. It’s just that they get paid, but there should be academic strings tied to the dollars, there should be a salary cap, and there should be contracts that prevent students from moving more freely than coaches.

The ACC hates us and has screwed us numerous times, so let em get screwed.

But that INT, and then later the fumble ... Ga Tech isn't helping their cause AT ALL.

UofL wasn’t in a power conference that started in the 1900s and we are not a land grant institution. We started late to the game in the grand scheme of major college sports. Other than Peck Hickman’s mens basketball program, the university did not invest in sports. We never really competed until the arrival of Tom Jurich.
