I’d assume his phone didn’t ring.
Probably a wake up call for a lot of BU QBs

Yeah, it’s really astonishing given how many lawyers these clowns employ.Typical of most Universities, they are woefully ill-prepared in planning their responses to events affecting their respective institutions. Their collective conferences are not much better, and evidenced by the performance within the NCAA, when commissioned to manage their organization as a whole ……. there is total incompetence.
When the Supreme Court was hearing the athletes case against the NCAA schools, there was virtually zero preparation for what most predicted as the decision favoring the athletes and the creation of NIL. There are no rules, no limitations and very little control with the consequences that are already causing havoc within college sports.
If the colleges and University Leadership would have addressed this issue early and effectively, they could have established guidelines that were both equitable and sustainable, for example they could have contractural language where the student athlete would be confined to reasonable compensation, required participation in Bowl games and remaining at the school over a specific time period. Non-skill positions (OL men) could be rewarded with some relative value to the skill positions (QB, WR, RB) kids.
The Administration of these schools did very little if any advanced planning, resulting in the chaos that we see within the system.
Not true. Even with all of UK's national championships, they don't even make the top 40 schools in NCAA wins (all sports). So you can imagine where we fall... Just be grateful and proud of what we have done is the only thing I can say.I acknowledged the Universities sports success, it's only the lack of the main prize that I'm lamenting. Now if I wanted to start a thread about how successful at sports the University of Louisville has had with several different programs, I would have had a post like yours.
I could say, look how much Louisville has been better than Purdue or Wake Forest or Iowa State or West Virginia or ......
Most people remember who's the champion, not the runner up.
No way was I bashing Rooths. My point was with a shortened roster due to injuries, he's got to find ways to contribute even if he's not scoring. Rebounds, steals, blocked shots and even fouling if that keeps other guys from picking up fouls. Chucky has to be on the floor that much we know. I know he's a freshman but his energy was what I liked about him. 14 minutes is enough time to contribute something.there is no way to know if Rooths will be around next year with transfer portal. freshman are a waste of roster space until there are 2-3 year NIL deals.
Yep this is how I felt. It was going to be a tough win with DeBeers, but without her it was like climbing Mt Everest without winter gear. It ain’t going to happen.Hate to say it but they were just better than us. We probably would've played them closer with DeBeer but it would've took our best effort of the season to pull out the win..
Same boat. I’ve always wanted to attend a game in that stadium. It’s pretty coolKinda surprised by those tickets prices. That bowl has a ton of support from locals. Logistics just didn't work out for me. Would've loved to have went..
Don’t players have insurance anyway?
