Surprising news from WKU. Coach Ray Harper has resigned and 3 players have been suspended. No other details. Anybody have any inside info?

The nonsense he had his players pull in our game last year in Bowling Green turned me against their basketball team. Hopefully they will make a good hire( as they did in football) .

It's being reported Harper will still get paid until the end of his contract which is in June. Sure wish I could quit a job and get paid an additional 90 days or so. Must be nice.
True, but the story on ESPN made it sound like Harper resigned, period. Harper said his resignation was "in the best interests of the program; a program that I care deeply about."
The AD is choosing to honor the contract to the end of it which is June 30th. Since Harper just quit, he didn't have to.
Any word if Darrin Horn's name has been bandied about as a replacement?

Others will be able to tell you better as I only saw replays, but a couple of their bigs noticeably tried to get Montrezl to retaliate after a couple of cheap shots. Most here felt it was orchestrated by their staff.

I am a WKU grad and I am hoping Townsend, the asst coach at Kansas gets a chance. He played PG at Western and his wife is from Nashville so he has some emotional ties to the job, unlike Travis Ford.
