Agree with whoever said Pitino deserves a lot of credit here. This is definitely his best coaching job for a season at U of L and probably ranks up there with the job he did in 1992 taking Duke to wire with Jamal Mashburn and a bunch of throw ins.
Once they got their bearings together after losing Chris, they have really played well. The team is in good hands with Q, and there is no reason to think now that we don't get out of this bracket.
In many ways this team reminds me of the 2012 team. Challenged offensively, but play great team defense and will not be blown out by anyone. As long as we are in a game, we have a master on the sidelines to help bring it home.
