I think he really wanted to see if Edwards could handle the PG position and give him as much experience possible for when Chucky does need a break or get in foul trouble.Just read a Si article that quoted CPK, he said the trainers said he could return. It sounds as if CPK took the conservative route and kept him benched.

You learn to live with itI think it was just Chuckie’s huge cajones crashing together awkwardly. Yeah…I know how that feels! 😂
I think there initially was some miscommunication but the trainers indicated that he was not available to return to play.Chucky didn't look concerned, his teammates didn't look concerned, and he had no ice or heat on his groin area.
Seems to me it was something he has probably dealt with before and knows what to expect.
He may have came back in had BC made a run to tie the score, but the opposite happened when the Cards expanded the lead, so Kelsey had no reason to bring him back in.
But if he has to miss the next game, there isn't a weaker team to play than Miami. The Hurricanes are as bad as the Cards were the past two seasons.
