This has more to do with yes they are defending NC, but as somebody pointed out this is not same team that won it last year. You get highly ranked by how you finished the previous year and you bring in transfers and recruits but you're not the same team. I do expect they will be better as the season goes. My takeaway is that I don't really care much about Hurley and his antics on the sidelines. Just because you won 2 NC doesn't mean you are entitled.

they are duplicating Kenny Payne's first year as a starter in 1987, where we were preseason #1, went to alaska and lost all three games. i trust Uconn has a better chance to do better than the '87 team
