U of L fans and school disrespected by bus company

LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) — A group of Louisville men's basketball fans decided to rent a bus for a road trip to watch the Cards play.
The only problem? The bus they got was decked out in University of Kentucky blue.
Let's just say they weren't happy about this: "This is beyond disrespectful," one can be heard saying in a video of the bus pulling up.
About 50 U of L fans left for South Bend, Indiana, Friday morning to support the Cards in Saturday's game against Notre Dame. The group reportedly booked the bus with Shockey Tours — before it was bought by Jefferson Transportation. Managers said they had no idea they were picking up U of L fans until the driver arrived, and there were no other buses available for the trip.

BS! Whoever assigned that bus knew that a trip to South Bend was going to be UofL fans traveling to ND.

Here’s the issue I have and the fundamental problem with all of it, some idiot in an office thinks he did that for the “cause” and showed Louisville what’s up, not a prank which in the end I could live that logic. It’s sad really and pathetic.
Hes lucky that was a private booked charter. Had that been a business or school sanctioned charter he be looking at a possible contract loss. The company i worked for pulled many contracts with companies that made screw ups like this. Optics mean alot for business you pay for your brand to be seen not your competitor. That''s what these private fans payed for to be seen supporting U of L not Uk. He needs to make it right by them .
Bottom line folks won’t forget this. It will hurt them in the end. Somebody from that group that booked with that company will let it be known....they knew it was a bus for UofL fans.
Bus company should give the fare back to the riders. That was lame and awful. If the owner is right-minded, he will refund everything.
What is the name of the bus company? I haven't seen it posted anywhere. I think they deserve to have their name dragged through the mud for incompetence. It will hurt really bad where it counts....$$$$

It might not be the companies fault but it was probably the fault of the individual sUcK fan who sent the bus. They should fire that employee or be boycotted.
That’s just it, the roles would never be reversed. UofL fans out in the real world aren’t that petty. We don’t live every moment of our lives based on the performances of 18-19 year old boys. We enjoy the sport and the pageantry of the event. Grovers live big blew every moment of their sorry lives.
