With the ACC doing well in the NCAA tournament, it makes the UofL job very interesting to other good quality coaches looking for an opportunity. Who wouldn't want to come to the best basketball conference and to one of the best sports programs.

What I was thinking, unless of course the narrative being floated around about May not ready for the big leagues was just idle talk.

This job will require someone with a large ego who wants to be the biggest show in town. That’s not for everyone. Ask, Satterfield or Mack. It can be/should be a pressure cooker. If the YUM! is full…pressure. If the YUM! Isn’t full…pressure. This town is basketball crazy. Check your fears at the door.

A mostly anti Louisville/ pro UK media watching your every move and a social justice group (counting the University) watching your every move as well.

The part about media watching closely sounds like getting a guy like Collins might prove the best. He will bring 0 negatives in that regard. And he certainly could more talent to Louisville than to Evanston.

Guy has a good coaching pedigree as well.
