just to clarify his future salary contract zipp from todays CJ article
"Meanwhile, Walz in June received a three-year extension through 2025, with a pay bump to $1.475 million annual base salary. His salary increases to $1.525 million after the 2020-21 season and to $1.575 million after the 2023-24 season. His buyout is $1.475 million. "

I don't understand the basis for those numbers and can't find them quoted anywhere else.

Your link above (the same one in today's article) reported his salary to be $1.15 million and a "bump" of $50,000. If those are additive, at most it's $1.2 million. The $50K is quoting Walz directly BTW.

I hope he's getting paid that much money--it's closer to what his peers are making...
